How to use joinXS applications with Offline Activation

Condition: 

You have downloaded the desired joinXS installer from the webshop at MY PRODUCTS and installed it on your hardware.

Important: When using your easyDCP application with Offline Activation, the services "online activation" and "roaming mode" are deactivated!

joinXS Player

• Start your application via the login window in the demo/offline mode
  

  Username/Password/Device Name/Remember Password Ignore these fields Demo/Offline Mode Launch your application in demo/offline mode

• Select "Preferences (OSX)" or "Options (WINDOWS)" in the application. Go to "Activation Status" and select "Request License".
       
• Fill out the form according to the instructions displayed and select "Submit" if you're on a workstation with an internet connection. The easyDCP website opens automatically in your browser. 
  
       
• If you're trying to activate an application on an offline workstation, you have the option to save the request as html and open it on another workstation with an in ternet connection. Click on "Submit License Request". The easyDCP website opens in your browser. 

• Log in to your easyDCP Webshop account and select the license to be activated. The license will be created.
  
             
  
  
• Download your License from your license status. 

• Go back to your joinXS application where you want to activate the Offline mode. Open the same menu as in the previous step and import the License with the option "Import License".
  

• The activation status changes from unlicensed to licensed under the name of your account. This means, the offline mode is activated and you can use your program now in Offline Activation without a permanent internet connection. Please note, that the Online Activation is deactivated for this application.

• Start your application via the login window
  

  You start your application via two options: Username/Password/Sign in/Forgot Password Sign in via Online Activation Start Demo Launch your application in demo mode without login data (this option is specifically relevant if your workstation doesn't have any internet connection)

• Open the settings menu     

• Open the "License" tab and click on the button "Request offline license file".
  
  
• Save the license file on your computer (e.g. in your downloads folder) 

• To create the license, you now need to open the exported html request on a workstation with an internet connection. Click on "Submit License Request". The easyDCP website opens in your browser. 

• Log in to your easyDCP Webshop account and select the license to be activated. The license will be created.
  
         
  
  
• Download your License set from your license status. 

• Go back to your joinXS application where you want to activate the Offline mode. Open the same menu as in the previous step and import the License with the option "Import License file".
  

• The activation status changes to "Active (offline)". This means, the offline mode is activated and you can use your program now in Offline Activation without a permanent internet connection. Please note, that the Online Activation is deactivated for this application.
